It is also used in dipping sauces for fried and grilled fish, grilled pork, and chicken. Calamansi can be used in practically any rich and savory dish to balance the flavors.

    During the dry season in the Philippines, we love to make calamansi juice because of its refreshing and invigorating flavors. We sweeten it with a little honey for a really healthy drink.

    • Around a liter of cold water

    For the kitchen utensils, you will need a knife, chopping board, spoon, and pitcher.


    Slice the calamansi and squeeze out the juice into the pitcher. Add cold water, sweeten with honey or brown sugar, and enjoy it. You can put it in the refrigerator if you want it colder or if you will consume it on a later time.
