Estrel's Caramel Cakes review

Estrel’s Caramel Cakes: Making Our Family Celebrations Even More Special

We first discovered Estrel’s Caramel Cakes some years ago through a friend and we have been completely in love with it ever since. In fact, we have tried another popular caramel cake brand, which is also good, but we prefer Estrel’s over it.

What we like about Estrel’s Caramel Cakes

Some people might cringe at the thought of having a slice of caramel cake since it does sound overly sweet. However, Estrel’s Caramel Cakes are not too sweet; the flavors are spot-on and well-balanced. The creamy caramel icing goes really well with the light chiffon pastry underneath. It’s like yema but definitely more sophisticated and on a different level than the yema cakes that are a popular pasalubong.

Estrel’s Caramel Cakes are also great gift ideas. The designs for the cake are beautiful and flawlessly made. When placing your order, you may request designs that are suited for adults or children. You can never go wrong with it because the presentation is always classy and impeccable.

We also like how easy it is to order Estrel’s Caramel Cakes. All you need to do is call; state your name, contact details, and preferences on the cake; and make a downpayment. It’s also easy to communicate with them. I have experienced making adjustments to an order through Facebook Messenger and they accommodated it.

Where and how to buy Estrel’s Caramel Cakes

Estrel’s Caramel Cakes are available only at their bakeshop located at 54 Scout Tobias St, Diliman, Quezon City.

The cakes need to be pre-ordered at least two days before the preferred pick-up date. Although I have experienced placing an order with only a one day allowance, it is not guaranteed because it so happened that there were not too many orders at that time, which happens rarely. Estrel’s advises its clients to provide them enough time to prepare the cakes to ensure the quality of both flavor and form.

On holidays, most especially, Estrel’s even go as far as recommending that customers place their orders weeks in advance.

To place an order, customers may call 8372-2965, 8371-7938, and 8376-7317. They are also required to provide their name and at least two (2) contact numbers.

A 50% downpayment is required when placing an order, either through cash or via bank deposit, while the balance is to be settled upon claiming of the cake.

Changes in and/or cancellation of the order is allowed but it has to be done a day before pick up and within business hours. Take note that deposits will be forfeited if cancellation is done on the day the cake is due for claiming.

The shelf life of the cakes

Estrel’s recommends that customers consume the cakes immediately, preferably within the day of pick up. Leftovers must be kept in sealed containers and refrigerated.

Here are some simple tips from Eastrel’s website to best enjoy your caramel cake:

    1. The cake needs to be in a cold environment at all times.
    2. Transporting the cake in motorcycles or at the back of pick-up trucks may cause damage to the cake.
    3. Always take caution in handling the cake to prevent damage.

    The price

The price of the cakes ranges from Php750 to Php7,300 depending on the size, add-ons, and how elaborate the design is. For the full price list, inclusions, and updates, you may visit this link. I think the price is fair enough considering the quality of Estrel’s Caramel Cakes.
