I always receive Giftaway Credits, but I keep forgetting how to redeem them to GCash. If this is also your constant predicament, here are the easy steps to do it. You can bookmark this page or save it so that you can use it as a reference the next time you want to redeem your Giftaway Credits to GCash.
1. You need to log in to your Giftaway account. You will have to use the email address to which your Giftaway Credits have been sent. I think there is no need to create an account; you can just log in using your email address and then click “forgot password” to set your password.
2. Click the menu on the upper left-hand portion of the Giftaway website. And click “Browse eGifts”.
3. Scroll down to the list of partners until you find “GCash.” Click on GCash, then click “Know More.” You will be taken to a selection with a number of options that you may send to your GCash account (or somebody else’s GCash account). There is also a custom amount option at the bottom of the page if you want to redeem all credits.
4. Enter the amount of credits that you want to send and click “Select This”.
5. Key in the recipient details and proceed to send/checkout. In particular, you will have to enter the email address of the recipient and the GCash number.
6. You will receive an email confirmation that your GCash credits have been delivered.
7. In your email address, you will also receive a notification email that you have received GCash Credits. Open it, and then you will have to click “Open Gift,” and then you will be asked to enter the email address where you received the GCash credits.
8. The details will open with the amount of credits that you received. Then click “Use”.
9. You will then be taken to the GCash redemption page, where you will have to enter your GCash number and optional contact email address.
10. After this, the usual OTP, then click “Redeem” once you enter the correct OTP.
11. Finally, you will receive a confirmation from GCash that your credits have been redeemed.
12. Check your GCash account to confirm.
