Mommy Khris and I have both been eating at David’s Tea House since way back ten years ago and I would say it’s a fairly good restaurant if you want to satisfy your cravings for delicious Chinese food. As such, when the opportunity to have our family lunch at David’s Tea House a few months ago presented itself, we took advantage of it so that our kids could also try their food. We had just finished doing some grocery errands at S&R and the two boys were already hungry so it was an easy decision to make.

Our experience at David’s Tea House


From what I recall, David’s Tea House branches looked impressive, with big round tables, comfortable chairs, and fine-looking decorations. However, the outlet at S&R seemed a bit of a deviation from the image of David’s Tea House that we recall. Just the same, the restaurant was comfortable and it was not crowded so there was no issue at all with how the interiors looked as a whole.

What we ordered


We ordered the usual whole fried chicken, pancit canton, spare ribs, beef brisket noodles, yang chow fried rice, and black gulaman.

Since we were just a few diners at that time, the service was quick and efficient. The food arrived freshly cooked after a fair amount of waiting time.

The kids loved the pancit canton, fried chicken, and yang chow fried rice. The spare ribs, meanwhile, was flavorful and delicious. My favorite though was the beef brisket noodles. The soup was tasty and the noodles were firm. I also liked how tender the meat was.

All in all, it was a satisfying family lunch at David’s Tea House.
