Chicken Stop’s Delicious Super Fried Chicken And Dips [Review]

Chicken Stop’s fried chicken has skin that is crisp and flavorful, and meat that has the right level of juiciness. Friends and loved ones know that I’m very picky when it comes to fried chicken; I’d always prefer versions that are not fatty or too oily. That’s why Chicken Stop is an instant hit for me and, of course, my family.

What sets Chicken Stop apart is its five signature dips that customers may choose from when they order fried chicken.

How we got to taste Chicken Stop fried chicken

We were able to try Chicken Stop at home when Blogapalooza sent us a box of a whole spring chicken and two dips in time for its sixth-anniversary celebration. It was my first time to hear about Chicken Stop and I was curious, so I checked its FB & IG pages. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive so my excitement to try Chicken Stop was building up.

A box of Chicken Stop fried chicken and dips

The box of chicken Stop arrived in late afternoon so we had it for dinner. When we opened it, it looked as good as I had seen it in photos. We heated the fried chicken a little then served it together with the truffle and garlic mayo dips.

The fried chicken is just as I like it: no breading, crispy and flavorful skin, and tender yet not too oily meat. On the other hand, the dips were a refreshing change from the usual gravy that is commonly served with fried chicken.

Both the truffle and garlic mayo sauces went well with the spring fried chicken. They are not overpowering and, in fact, enhanced the flavor of the chicken. My favorite between the two is the truffle dip though.

All in all, we enjoyed eating Chicken Stop’s super fried chicken dipped in its signature sauces. We’ll definitely keep ordering from Chicken Stop.
