We tried Zeny Café when we went to NE Pacific Mall in Cabanatuan City,
Nueva Ecija a few months ago. We were trying to explore my home province
beyond my hometown of San Antonio, and we decided to go to NE Pacific Mall,
one of the most recognizable shopping centers in Nueva Ecija. After close to
2 hours of walking, we decided to rest and have snacks before heading back
home.
One restaurant caught our attention because of its vibrant interiors and
delicious food. Plus, they had coffee, which was what we were just looking
for.
About Zeny Café
Zeny Café is located at the main atrium of NE Pacific Mall. They’re a fairly
new establishment, having opened for business in 2024. In any case, I’m glad
to see modern cafes offering in my home province. Previously, we only get to
taste café food and drinks in Metro Manila, but now we can enjoy them anytime
that we want them.
Zeny Café offers mainly Filipino food favorites like Pancit sotanghon, Pancit
Palabok, sisig, dinuguan, pastries, and many more.
The ambiance is very homey and inviting. It’s perfect for family meals and
also quick snacks with friends.

The classic Pancit Sotanghon
The Pancit Sotanghon is a comforting meal on its own. It has a familiar
home-cooked taste, with all the flavors soaked up by the noodles.
It’s garlicky and meaty, with all the flavors that we love in Pancit
Sotanghon. The noodles are cooked just right so they are firm to the bite.
Even children will love this Pancit Sotanghon.
Filling Clubhouse Sandwiches
The Clubhouse Sandwiches are also filling and wonderful to the taste. Again,
the flavors are very much what we come to expect from clubhouse sandwiches:
the savory meat and cheese, balanced by the crisp vegetables, as well as the
yummy dressing. This is quite good paired with the Pancit Sotanghon.
Burger and Fries
Rafa requested fries, so we just ordered Burger and Fries for him and Miguel.
They were still a little full from lunch at that time so they just ate the
fries. Mommy Khris and I split the burger in half. It was also good, although
quite ordinary in terms of taste. Nevertheless, it was also a satisfying
snack.
Spanish Latte
I wanted to have coffee before driving to keep me awake during the long way
back home. Zeny Café’s version is milky sweet, while the coffee is a little on
the strong side. This is just the way I like it because I always like to taste
strong coffee even in ice blended drinks.
Final Thoughts
It was a nice experience eating at Zeny Café in NE Pacific Mall. The food and
drinks were delicious and affordable, and the staff was accommodating to our
requests. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming. All in all, it was a breath
of fresh air to see an establishment like Zeny Café in my home province.
