I know most parents can relate to this – one moment, maliliit ang mga anak natin na prang mga kuting na helpless, then the next moment, malalaki na sila at sobrang kulit at pahirapan na bawalin haha. This is a constant “complaint” among parents -- kids grow up too fast. Sometimes, napapasabi na lang tayo na sana ay not too fast ang paglaki nila (at paglipas ng panahon).

Our kids grow up too fast

Bakit ko nga ba ito naisip? Wala, this is just a random thought. Significantly bigger sya as compared to when he started school almost a year ago.

On the other hand, since inevitable naman talaga ang paglipas ng panahon at paglaki ng mga anak natin, how do we maximize our time with them? Para sa akin, simple lang. Spend as much time as you can with them. Mga simpleng bonding moments each day, weekend dates with your family, and special occasions.

Support them as they grow up, lead them in the right way, create lasting memories with them. Sabi nga sa isang daddy group, as long as you create memorable and good experiences with your children, babalik at babalik sila sa inyo eventually.

What we can do in the meantime is take advantage of the time we have with them while they are still little and create lasting memories that they will carry with them for life.
