What we tried in Tenderbites Premium Meats
We were able to try several Tenderbites meat products like the special
muscovado longganisa, lean garlic longganisa, and tocino and I can attest that
they are of high quality. When we were cooking the longganisa, we were a bit
concerned because very little oil was being rendered. There were just a few
drops coming out of the casing when we pricked it with a toothpick.

The reason for it became apparent when we sliced the longganisa; it was
all-meat. The longganisa skin was packed densely with lean ground pork meat
that’s why there was only a small amount of oil coming out.
Both the special muscovado and lean garlic longganisa were so unlike the usual
longganisa variants sold in supermarkets. Those commercial types of longganisa
may be priced lower but they also contain generous bits of fat mixed with the
meat, as such, you may not really be getting your money’s worth in the end.

Of the two longganisa variants from Tenderbites, we particularly liked the
special muscovado longganisa because of the mildly sweet flavor of the sugar
that meld well with the salty savory taste of the rest of the seasoning.
We also liked the Tenderbites tocino. Again, it was meaty and had a pleasantly
sweet taste balanced with salty flavors. It didn’t taste like we were eating
meat coated with sugar.
We have yet to try the lamb sukiyaki and the steak but I’m sure the taste will
be just as impeccable as the other items that we’ve tried.
