Our experience at Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken


We tried Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken in Capitol Commons some years back. That was after we attended a company event. We wanted to relax and have something good to eat so we made a stop at Capitol Commons.

I wasn’t familiar with Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken that time yet so I didn’t know what to expect when our friends suggested that we eat here.

The restaurant created quite a good impression because of its modern and large interiors. The lights are bright and the decors are contemporary, which all added to the laid-back atmosphere of Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken.

The overall design of the restaurant gave the air of a coffee shop and that’s not bad at all. In fact, it’s one of the strongest points of Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken.

The food


Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken’s menu is composed of pica pica, soups and salads, and combination plates that are good for individual orders as well as for sharing. We ordered a Chicken & Rib Plate worth P435 because it was big enough for two hungry people.

Our order arrived fast and we were satisfied with how good it looked. It had a nice slab of ribs and plump chicken, served with a siding of Java rice and corn, and sauces. It was definitely tempting and was worth its price.

Khris and I shared half of the ribs, the chicken, and the Java rice. The meats were tender and flavorful. The chicken, in particular, was a welcome change from the usual fried chicken and fast food version that we usually get to taste.

In the end, it was a delicious and satisfying meal that left us happily stuffed.
