Our Kyukyu Ramen Experience [Review, Menu, + Branches]

I’ve been seeing Kyukyu Ramen branches in several locations and thought that it might be good to try it out, too. First off, the price point looks tempting. Its cheapest bowl is P99, and I figured that’s already quite a steal. I mean, I wouldn’t know if it’s delicious until I tried it. As such, when we had a quick trip to Ayala Fairview Terraces, I decided to finally satisfy my curiosity and my taste buds when I saw a Kyukyu branch inside this mall. I bought the Kyukyu Ramen at P99 for one bowl for takeout. I like that the branch had a good ordering system, and the waiting time was also acceptable.

Our Kyukyu Ramen Experience [Review, Menu, + Branches]

When I opened my Kyukyu takeout bowl, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the ramen looked. It had one decent slice of pork belly on top. The pork belly was meaty with just the right thickness of fat. The noodles were firm and nice to the bite; not soggy or unpleasant. The soup was also noteworthy; it was bursting with flavors and satisfying. Wow! It was a good decision to try Kyukyu Ramen. I also like that it offers an affordable option for those who want to satisfy their ramen cravings but a little short on budget.

Now, you’d be asking if Kyukyu Ramen’s quality is consistent in other branches. Yes, my personal experience has been consistent in some of the branches that I tried. I ordered the same Kyukyu Ramen in Shangri-La Plaza Mall and it was also delicious. The same goes with the Kyukyu Ramen branch in Robinsons Novaliches. I like that I can order a bowl of ramen and I can enjoy it kahit na may order na ako na rice meal haha.

There are only a handful of choices in Kyukyu Ramen's menu, and I think that's a good thing. It's not too overwhelming, and it keeps the price point competitive.
