If you are in the Tagaytay area and looking for a unique experience with your family, then you might want to consider Angelfields Nature Sanctuary.
When we went to Tagaytay a few months ago, we wanted to give the kids a different kind of experience, so we planned on taking them to a zoo or an animal-feeding adventure. We’ve been to Paradizoo Theme Farm before, but since we arrived late, most of our activities were hurried because we didn’t want to be on the road back to Quezon City before nighttime. Anyway, since we had a lot of time to explore Tagaytay, we decided to go to Angelfields Nature Sanctuary, thanks to the many good reviews that we read on social media and on websites.

What to remember when visiting Angelfields Nature Sanctuary
If you want to experience animal-feeding at Angelfields Nature Sanctuary for “free,” you can opt to eat at their in-house restaurant, Cucina Bernardo, and spend a minimum of P500 per person. We ordered chop suey, bulalo soup, sisig, and pancit.
The food was delicious; however, I was still too full from our breakfast to enjoy it. The children liked the pancit and bulalo soup, so I’d say that the food was good, overall.
As for the animal food, you would have to buy it at around P10 for the duck food and P5 per branch (with leaves) for the tortoise food.
For the actual animal feeding, we first went to the pond to feed the ducks. From the social media videos that we checked, there were a lot of ducks in the pond. However, we were informed by one of the caretakers that, weeks before, a wild dog from the mountains attacked and took the lives of hundreds of ducks, hence, the smaller number of ducks during our visit.

The children also enjoyed the tortoise-feeding activity. It was their time seeing tortoises and they appreciated the close encounter with these creatures. There were even baby tortoises which they found cute.

Rabbit-feeding |
The last activity that the children did before we headed home was the rabbit-feeding activity. It wasn’t entirely a new experience for the kids, but Rafa still wanted me to get one of the rabbits from the pen (of course, that wasn’t allowed).
