Macao Imperial Tea Menu + Complete List of Branches [Review]

February 28, 2022

Sharing my review of Macao Imperial Tea, our all-time favorite milk tea drink at home.

Macao Imperial Tea is undoubtedly one of the most popular milk tea cafes around the country and even in other countries and territories like Macau, Vietnam, China, and the USA. Macao Imperial Tea’s delicious milk tea blends and distinctive flavors have endeared it to Filipino milk tea enthusiasts, both young and old.

Macao Imperial Tea Menu + Complete List of Branches [Review]

Macao Imperial Tea is our favorite at home

I’ve always been honest that I’m not really a fan of milk tea. I’d always choose to have coffee over milk tea. But if there’s one milk tea brand that I like to drink, it’s Macao Imperial Tea. It’s a favorite at our house that’s why I came to eventually love it, too.

Our favorite milk tea flavor is the cheesecake and pearl milk tea because the combination of the slightly bitter tea, salty cream cheese, and creamy milk is a delightful explosion of flavors on the palate. I used to just take a few sips from Khris’ cup but eventually, I began to order a separate cup of Macao Imperial Tea for myself.

The last time we ordered, I tried the halo-halo flavored cheesecake milk tea because I was craving, well, halo-halo.

More reasons why we like Macao Imperial Tea

Aside from the delicious taste of Macao Imperial Tea drinks, we also love it at home because of the following reasons:

    1. It’s affordable

The milk tea blends are fairly affordable at least at par with the prices of other similar popular drinks in the market today. A large drink at Macao Imperial Tea, on average, is around P175.

    2. It offers food delivery

If you are craving Macao Imperial Tea, you won’t have to fret because it’s really easy to order. Because of the number of outlets of Macao Imperial Tea, chances are, there is one that is near you. Before the pandemic, we would just ask my brother-in-law to buy Macao Imperial Tea Cheesecake and Pearl Milk Tea at Ayala Fairview Terraces.

However, because of the quarantine restrictions, we would just order Macau Imperial Tea via GrabFood and have it delivered at home. Aside from GrabFood, FoodPanda also delivers Macau Imperial Tea.

    3. There are many flavors to choose from

While the all-time favorite Macao Imperial Tea flavor at home is the Cheesecake and Pearl Milk Tea, it’s also great to know that there are other flavors that are available. I’ve tried the Cheesecake Purple Taro and it also tasted fine.

    Macao Imperial Tea halo-halo flavor
Macao Imperial Tea Cheesecake Halo-Halo Flavor

Lately, I saw the Cheesecake Halo-Halo Milk Tea in the choices. While I think it’s a limited-edition flavor, I like that it was able to satisfy my craving for halo-halo.

    4. Macao Imperial Tea also offers coffee blends

For those who are not keen on trying milk tea and would only strictly consume coffee, then it’s alright. You won’t be left out at Macao Imperial Tea because there are hot and cold coffee options available for you.

    Epilogue

Macao Imperial Tea is one of the most widely known milk tea brands all over the country. It’s also our favorite milk tea at home and we would have it delivered at home whenever we wanted something cool to drink.

While I do admit that I’m not too much of a milk tea fan, I find the flavors offered by Macao Imperial Tea to be delightful. I’d have to try its coffee selections though the next time that we order.

    18. I love this brand too! :D I always order the Black Pearl Milk Tea variant because it's honestly a classic. Their packaging is always good (delivered or bought in-store) and the flavors never disappoint whenever I try something new. While I'm not addicted to milk tea like some of my friends, I can appreciate a good brand!
