How we discovered 8 Spoons Party Trays
We discovered 8 Spoons Party Trays when we were looking for a local caterer in
Quezon City which serves delicious yet easy-on-the-budget food for Rafa’s first birthday. It’s one of the caterers that had many good recommendations on social media as well as the websites of party organizers.
We scanned 8 Spoons Party Tray’s menu posted on its Facebook page and we liked how their food items sounded fancy. We sent an inquiry regarding the ordering process and the delivery. When everything was clear to us, we placed our
orders, and paid for it through bank transfer.
Thankfully, our orders arrived hot and fresh at our agreed time.
8 Spoons Party Trays’ menu and what we ordered
8 Spoons Party Trays’ menu is composed of a wide range of appetizers,
vegetables, pasta, noodles, rice, pork, chicken, beef, fish and seafood,
turkey dishes, and desserts.
For our youngest son’s birthday, we ordered Crab Sotanghon (P2500), Peruvian Chicken (large, P1680) Creamy Baked
Penne with Hungarian Sausage (P400), Beefy Burger Steak with Mushroom Gravy (L 1950), and Fish Fillet with Tartar Sauce and Parmesan
Cheese (L, P1400).
We loved how the food was packed nicely in party trays. Just remove the
plastic wrap and they’re ready to be served.

Among all the food that we ordered, we were all intrigued with the Crab
Sotanghon. It’s the usual sotanghon noodles that we love at home but it was topped with a big crab.
The giant shell looked impressive and expensive, and the claws looked really tempting. In terms of taste, it had a strong crab flavor. It’s really delicious and highly recommended if you want to make your celebration extra festive.

| Peruvian Chicken |
Another most loved dish at the table was the Peruvian chicken. I'm not a
chicken lover but I have to admit that the Peruvian chicken smelled appetizing. It also came with three sauces: chipotle, chimichurri, and salsa.
I tried all sauces with the baked fish and they were all delicious.

| Beefy Burger Steak with Mushroom Gravy |
I also loved the Beefy Burger Steak with Mushroom Gravy. It’s a food item that
I love to eat in fast-food restaurants and whenever it’s available in gatherings. This version 8 Spoons Party Trays is meaty and flavorful.
It’s like big beef meatballs that are sightly flattened and not like the thin patty commercial versions that we are more familiar with in fast food stores. The mushroom gravy, meanwhile, is loaded with shitake mushrooms.

The Creamy Baked Penne is also good because it had the right level of creaminess and it was loaded with slices of spicy Hungarian sausage. I only had two small servings of it though and that was it. Perhaps because I just liked the Crab Sotanghon more than this.

However, I think the Fish Fillet with Tartar Sauce and Parmesan Cheese needed improvement though because it turned out dry. The Parmesan Cheese on top didn’t help either because it made the dish feel drier in the mouth.
Perhaps it needed a little butter and olive oil or maybe even melted cheese on top. I had no problem with how it
tasted because the flavors were well-balanced.
Epilogue
All in all, 8 Spoons Party Trays is good if you are having an intimate gathering at home with your family and friends. You can also order food on weekends if you want to make your mealtime with your loved ones to be extra special. It’s a great choice if you want good food at a reasonable price.
