Our Family Lunch at Conti’s Ayala Fairview Terraces [Review + Menu]

For the first time, we had the opportunity to try the food at Conti’s at Ayala Fairview Terraces. Actually, nag-oorder naman kami before ng cakes dito sa Conti’s (Mango Bravo, what else). And then mga 10 years ago naglunch kami dito sa Conti’s with some old friends. But other than those, di pa kami nakakain sa Conti’s as a family.

Anyway, I had a Conti’s gift check (GC) which I won from a PR Christmas Party around 6 years ago. Hindi ko nagamit since then (at hindi na rin ako binigyan ng project nung PR since then haha). Medyo Malaki yung halaga nung GC that I had so we thought of spending it on lunch. Generally, we found the food at Conti’s to be delicious. However, to be frank, it’s really not within the budget for our family weekend lunch outs.

We chose the outside seat at Conti’s because the restaurant was full during the time that we went there (even though it was beyond lunch). The server confirmed that it was okay to use the GC that we had, we proceeded to order our food.

We ordered Vongole Bianco (P395), Garlic Sotanghon (P215), Batangas Pork Adobo (P335), Mom’s Garlic Longanisa (P295), and a slice of Pistachio Crunch (P235).

As usual, we had our children in mind when we ordered those items. The Pork Adobo was a hit with the kids; the thick chunks of pork, simmered in soy sauce and vinegar, were tender and packed with flavor.

The generous garlic bits made it even more mouthwatering. Speaking of garlic, our kids also loved the garlic sotanghon. Well, we liked it too because it was scrumptious. Meanwhile, the Vongole Bianco had a rich seafood flavor, which we also liked. The longganisa was fine, it wasn’t exceptional but it was okay.

Sa totoo lang, what we like about Conti’s is the delicious and comforting taste of Filipino food. Parang home-cooked meals, and then the ambiance is also homey. We capped our meal with a slice of Pistachio Cake. Okay lang sya for me, tama lang ang tamis pero wala rin naman anything extraordinary.
