Alpadi Estate: The Perfect Venue For An Old-World Photoshoot

We had our pre-nuptial photoshoot at Alpadi Estate in Antipolo, Rizal in 2014 and it was a beautiful experience that was unforgettable, something that we would definitely treasure for life. Alpadi Estate was a great choice because our photos turned out as we had envisioned them to be.

Alpadi Estate: The Perfect Venue For An Old-World Photoshoot

Choosing Alpadi Estate as the venue for our pre-nuptial shoot

One of the things that we enjoyed in the days leading to our wedding was our pre-nuptial photoshoot. It was fun because we got to dress up and we were styled like we were celebrities. Well, we felt like we were celebrities even just for that day.

Our wedding theme was Roaring ‘20s (The Great Gatsby), an era that I loved for its carefree persona, so we were looking for a venue that could provide the classic old world vibe. When it came to this, we were able to narrow it down to three locations:

    1. Heirloom Manila

Address: 25 Mystic Rose Dr, Quezon City, Metro Manila,
    Telephone number: 0916 724 7542

    2. Casa Domingo

Address: Edward Go St, Las Pinas, Metro Manila
    Telephone number: 0917 812 6733

    3. Alpadi Estate

Address: Sumulong Highway, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, Antipolo, Rizal
    Telephone number: 5716608 or 0927 628 1478

We consider all of these three locations as some of the best and most scenic event, wedding, and photoshoot venues in or near Metro Manila.

However, we chose Alpadi Estate because of its location in the mountains of Antipolo, which meant that we could enjoy the cool mountain breeze while treating ourselves to picturesque views of the surroundings as well as the cityscape of Metro Manila.

    Alpadi Estate’s amenities

Alpadi Estate is an ancestral home that had been converted into a wedding and event venue, complete with sleeping quarters for guests who want to spend the night here.

Alpadi Estate offers the following amenities to guests:

    • The townhouse is a three-story duplex where the sleeping quarters are located. It also has a living room and a kitchenette.
    • The private chapel, which can be used for weddings and other solemn ceremonies.
    • A resort complete with two swimming pools – one for kids and one for adults – for guests who want to have fun while at Alpadi Estate.

On top of these, Alpadi Estate boasts of a sprawling garden and a two-story pavilion that can comfortably seat up to 400 guests. The entire property is filled with lush greens that will make guests feel that they are indeed close to nature.

    Our photoshoot experience

Days before our actual photoshoot, we already coordinated with Alpadi Estate for the entry of our photographers as well as our own vehicle. We arrived early on our appointed day and the caretaker was already waiting for us.

We were given a quick tour of the townhouse and after that, our stylist Rabbithole Creatives went down to business and set up the different scenarios. We also briefed our photographer, Bliss and Berries, as to our wedding theme, how we imagine our photos, and poses that we do not like.

We went from one style to another, one shoot to the next, and everything went smoothly because our stylist and our photographer were professionals. It makes a whole lot of difference when you have reliable suppliers to help you out with your project.

Our photoshoot lasted until early in the evening but we were completely happy with how our day turned out.

How to go to Alpadi Estate

It’s best to take a private vehicle if you are going to Alpadi Estate. Take Sumulong Highway and when you have driven past the road leading to the Eugenio Lopez Center, keep your eyes peeled for the Alpadi Estate gate and arch located on the right side of the road.

You’d know you’ve missed Alpadi Estate when you see Padi’s Point. In that case, just go back for a few meters until you spot Alpadi Estate.
