Start by preparing the following ingredients:

    • 2 medium to large cauliflower heads
    • 1 clove of garlic, minced
    • a dash of ground black pepper
    • a dash of rock salt
    • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

    Procedure:

    1. Wash the cauliflower and remove the mature leaves and other inedible parts. Tip: do not discard the young leaves as these can be steamed or added to stir fries and consumed as a good source of fiber and other nutrients.
    2. Slice the cauliflower heads in half. Make sure that you cut in the middle through the stem so that the chops remain intact.
    3. Heat the oil then pan fry the cauliflower chops with garlic. Sprinkle with salt.
    4. When the edges are a bit brownish, the cauliflower chops are done. I like to char the edges a bit for a little crunch. But as it is, it is already delicious.
    5. Sprinkle with ground black pepper before plating and while the cauliflower chops are hot.

    11. Yes, sir. What I like about cauliflower is that you do not feel like you are depriving yourself. It's vegetable but it's hearty and filling, plus it does taste good. It does not have that bitter plant taste.
