Our experience at the Holiday Inn Makati
Khris and I have not yet booked an overnight stay at Holiday Inn Makati. We
have been here for her team's year-end celebration because of a productive
and fruitful year, as well as Christmas party.

We booked a package that included a function room and a buffet dinner
through Deal Grocer when they had a promo.
It was really a practical choice considering that it was Holiday Inn
Makati. Best of all, we had a great time and we enjoyed every bit of our
time at Holiday Inn.

If you are thinking of a nice hotel in Makati where you can celebrate a
special occasion, then consider Holiday Inn. Here are some of the best reasons to do so:
1. The food is good
One of the most unforgettable aspects of our experience at the Holiday Inn
was the food. The dinner buffet included soup, salad, Japanese food,
chicken, pork, beef, fish, pasta, roast vegetables, and dessert.

The food was really flavorful, unlike other similar dishes served in other
hotels. The servings were also big and could absolutely satisfy even those
with huge appetites. We were around 15 people and by the end of our buffet
dinner, we were all happily stuffed.

It was definitely worth every peso. We particularly enjoyed the roast beef
because it was tender. The gravy that came with it was also good. I also
liked the roast mixed vegetables as well as the lechon kawali.

As for dessert, there were fruit slices and pastries. The brewed coffee was
unlimited, which I liked to pair with the sweets.
2. There is no big crowd at the Holiday Inn
One more thing that we liked about Holiday Inn is that it does not get too
crowded. I know there are bigger hotels in Makati City but they also get
really crowded because they are popular event venues for conferences and
business forums.

It's not really an issue to have many people walking around but it's
always welcome when there are only a handful of people in the hotel lobby
or the function room areas.
3. The service is impeccable
Good service always contributes to the overall impression of any
establishment. It completes the whole experience, so to speak.

The service staff and personnel at Holiday Inn were commendable for
helping us out and for accommodating our requests as long as it's still
within the scope of the package that we bought. What we couldn't forget
was that the food was quickly replenished as soon as a serving tray
becomes empty.

Furthermore, the utility personnel was also kind enough to help us with
the technical set up in the function room,
Our verdict
All in all, it's easy to recommend Holiday Inn Makati to those who are
looking for a fairly affordable package for a group event or family
celebration. The food was delicious, the hotel interior was nice, and the
service was fast and efficient.

We were not able to try the rooms though. Hope we could have a
staycation here one of these days. From the promotional photos and
write-ups, it seemed like one could get a good view of the Makati
cityscape from Holiday Inn.
