believes that bringing BDO Cash Agad to Barangay Mampang in Zamboanga City
will be beneficial to the residents of this community as well as those in nearby
areas. Thus, she recently signed up her eponymous gym as a BDO Cash Agad
partner-agent in her hometown.

The Hidilyn Diaz Gym serves as a training facility for those who are dreaming
of becoming champions in weightlifting as well as in other sports.

"Alam ko na makakadagdag ng kita para sa pamilya ko (na syang nag o-operate
ng gym) ang pagkakaroon ng Cash Agad point-of-sale (POS) terminal sa
gym,"
said Hidilyn.
"Pero mas malaking ginhawa ang maidudulot nito sa mga kababayan ko sa
Mampang lalo na sa pag-withdraw nila ng cash."
Using their ATM cards from BDO Unibank, BDO Kabayan Savings, BDO Network Bank,
and other local banks, customers may withdraw cash from the Hidilyn Diaz Gym
and other small to medium businesses like sari-sari stores that are also
partner-agents.
With BDO Cash Agad’s over 10,000 agents nationwide, residents don’t have to go
far and spend more just to withdraw money from banks or ATMs in the city.
"Dito sa Mampang, kailangan pa nilang bumiyahe ng mga 10 kilometers para
lamang makapag-withdraw sa bayan. Pero ngayon dahil may POS na sa gym namin
dito, kaunting lakad na lang sila. At dahil magkakakilala naman kami dito sa
Mampang, anytime pwede silang magpunta para mag withdraw lalo na kung para
sa emergencies,"
Hidilyn added.
“Para sa mga beneficiaries ng mga overseas Filipinos, madali na nilang
mai-wiwithdraw ang kanilang remittance dahil may Cash Agad na dito.”
BDO Cash Agad partner-agents may earn additional income from withdrawals made
my customers. Aside from withdrawals, individuals may also do balance
inquiries in Cash Agad POS terminals.
Encouraging other SMEs to partner with BDO Cash Agad
The weightlifting champ is using the success of her gym as an example to
encourage other small and medium businesses to tie up with BDO Cash Agad.
"Sa mga may negosyo, lalo na yung mga nasa far-flung areas, I encourage
them na mag apply na rin na maging Cash Agad partner-agent dahil dagdag kita
ito sa kanila. Makakatulong din ang Cash Agad na madagdagan ang mga suki sa
business nila dahil kadalasan pag nagwiwithdraw ang customer sa Cash Agad at
nakita nila yung mga paninda mo, bibili na rin ang mga yun. Malamang mag
kwento pa sila sa mga kakilala nila na 'dun ka na bumili, makakapag withdraw
ka pa dahil may Cash Agad',"
emphasized Hidilyn.
BDO Agents Day
BDO Remit, BDO Network Bank, and BDO Cash Agad also held an Agents Day in
which branch employees from all over Zamboanga City did financial inclusion
activities for the residents of Mampang.
The bank personnel opened accounts, accepted loan applications, and answered
inquiries related to Cash Agad from interested individuals.
